The Frazzled Parenting BLOG is written about and for real families that deal with real life issues. This BLOG isn’t filled with warm, mushy “everyone just needs to love each other” waste of time “parenting”. Parenting is the hardest job one can ever have, regardless if those children are foster kids, adoptive kids, bio kids; if they have special needs, social and emotional challenges, or they are that typical everyday run of the mill kid. Oh, this BLOG isn’t about that last set.

Nothing like knowing you're doing your job as parent correctly when your child declares your “evil” as a result of holding him accountable for his actions; or lack there of.

So we are right on schedule with S, two day before school starts and he has regressed to the 3rd grade (he is starting 8th grade on Wednesday) with a half hour temper tantrum. So now he is cooling down sitting on his bed before having to visit school and fill his locker this afternoon.
