Families Like Ours Internship Opportunities
Families Like Ours is a nonprofit 501c3 Adoption Exchange working within the child and family social service community. As such, we are often able provide a learning environment for college students seeking relevant field experience related to adoption, foster care, GLBT&Q youth and family, communications and I.T. Typically we are able to provide for students in the following degree programs:
- Bachelors for work in social service
- Masters in social service
- Studies related to GLBT Youth and Families
- I.T. degree's
- Nonprofit and Business related degree's in the area of Communication (P.R., Writing, etc)
We work closely with the University of Washington, and other western Washington colleges. If you would like to join our internship program and obtain first hand working knowledge, please contact us by email or phone, or talk with your practicum instructor about an internship with Families Like Ours, Inc.
