FLO Advisor Scheduling

Do you need more than just something to read, or time in a class? You can use this scheduling system to setup a time with one of our adoption-foster care advisors. Often our advisors are part of our Adoption Buddy system, which is a volunteer network of other adoptive, foster families and professionals. So this schedule changes often. If there are no current appointments available, just drop us an email and let us know that you need individual help.

There are many resources on the Families Like Ours website designed to provide you with the information and help you need.  While it may seem easiest to just pick up the phone and call, please remember that we provide one-on-one assistance to several thousand families and professionals each year with a very limited staff. To help you find the answers you need efficiently, we suggest you:

  1. Read through the FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions) to see if your question has already been answered
  2. If you are new to adoption or foster care, read through our Adoption 101 information or visit the Getting Started section.
  3. Check out our Resource Guides, an area where we are always adding new content
  4. Browse our catalog of Training Programs
  5. Peruse the Families Like Ours Calendar Of Events related to adoption and foster care
  6. If you’re part of the professional community, visit the Professional Resources link at the top of every page.

We do our best to make as much time available for individual consultation appointments as possible. However, please keep in mind that annually, we provide one-on-one assistance via phone, in person, group and email support to several thousand families and professionals.

To better serve your needs, we have set up this automated system to allow you to self-schedule a time to speak with one of our adoption-foster care advisors over the phone.

Each appointment is scheduled in one hour increments.
