Those kids are just not adoptable
Miss Information: Those kids are just not adoptable.
Reality: It is true that there are some children that choose not to be adopted, but there are no children that the foster care system stamps “unadoptable.” There may however be some social workers, therapist, therapeutic facilities and dysfunctional state systems that may deem a child not adoptable. It is our belief at Families Like Ours that there is no child that cannot be part of a loving, caring family in some form or fashion. In most states, once a child reaches the age of 12 or older, they do have a say if they would like to be adopted. But that is of the child’s choice.
